Q. Is there a minimum number of services required for my wedding day?
A. It depends on the season. Most of the time, there are no minimum requirements.

Q. How far in advance do I need to book?
A. We accept bookings up to 6 months in advance. Fridays and Saturdays are typically reserved for bridal parties and weddings. If your date is closer—ideally within 4 weeks—please reach out, and if we have availability, we’d be happy to glam you! If we’re unavailable, we can recommend other talented artists in the Austin area.

Q. What is the booking process?
A. To get started, please complete the inquiry form under the Contact tab on our website or email us directly at tansia@tansiaayon.com. We’ll send you a detailed questionnaire to begin your consultation. From there:

  1. We’ll review your event details (date, location, start time, party size, etc.).
  2. If we’re available, we’ll provide pricing.
  3. If you’d like to proceed, we’ll send a bridal/special event contract.
  4. Once you return the signed contract and deposit, your date is confirmed! (Please complete this within 2 days to ensure availability.)

Q. Is a deposit required?
A. Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit, along with a signed contract, is required to secure your booking.

Q. Do you offer bridal hair and makeup trials?
A. Absolutely! Trials are held at our home studio. This is a great opportunity to preview your wedding day look and make any adjustments.

Q. How should I prepare for my trial or appointment?

  • Clothing: Wear a top similar in color to your event dress (e.g., white if you’re wearing a white gown).
  • Face & Hair: Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Exfoliate and moisturize your skin and lips beforehand. Wash and blow-dry your hair; if very curly or frizzy, lightly straighten the roots but avoid using products.
  • Inspiration: Bring 2–5 photos of looks you love, and a couple of styles you don’t, so we understand your preferences.

Q. Do you have a team available for larger parties?
A. Yes! We have an amazing team of artists for larger groups. An assistant fee may apply, which will be included in your quote.

Q. How long does each service take?
A. Each service typically takes 30 minutes. We also build in an additional 45–60 minutes of flex time to keep the day running smoothly. Brides should allow at least 2 full hours for hair and makeup to ensure every detail is perfect.

Q. When is the final balance due?
A. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to your event date, paid in one transaction by the bride or bride’s family.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. A 30-day notice is required for cancellations. Deposits are non-refundable. If services are canceled or reduced within 30 days of the event, 50% of the canceled amount will still be due.
